3U BIOMEDICAL

Today’s discoveries in the lab can lead to tomorrow’s therapies and technologies. But translating research into tangible products and services that benefit society typically requires the input of multidisciplinary teams of researchers working together.

3U Biomedical Research is a major initiative between our institutions focussed on translational research to enable advanced treatments of diseases. This initiative is founded on numerous successful existing collaborations, shared facilities and complementary expertise that can help us to make groundbreaking discoveries.

3U Biomedical Research will be a leader in translational research, harnessing the combined expertise of scientists, engineers, clinicians and industry to develop new treatments and diagnostic techniques for major diseases. It will encompass the full span of basic research to commercial development and will train tomorrow’s experts and accelerate commercial solutions to the marketplace.
