3U Pathway Programmes Acquired by EduCo

EduCo International Group has announced its first partnerships with European universities, welcoming the leading Irish institutions Maynooth University and DCU into its global portfolio. The announcement was made at the launch of EduCo International’s Ireland operations in Dublin on Friday 24 March 2017, by EduCo’s Ruairi Quinn. The operations are a joint venture between EduCo International Group and Irish education entrepreneur Barry O’Callaghan. 3U Diabetes consortium identifies a biomarker that could help predict the onset of Type 1 diabetes

A significant finding has been made by the 3U Diabetes Consortium, of Dublin City University, Maynooth University and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), which has the potential to contribute to the identification of biological markers that predict the development of Type 1 diabetes, a chronic autoimmune disease. Friday, 20th, January 2017: Precision or personalised  management of diabetes, is a major focus of the Fifth Annual 3U Partnership International Diabetes Conference entitled ‘Current Challenges in Diabetes Research’ which takes place at RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland) in Dublin today.   The Conference had an update from the National Clinical Lead in Diabetes, Dr Seán Dineen, with 2015 figures showing 5.2% of Irish adults have been diagnosed with the disease.
